Scope
JAMstudio was appointed to design a substantial orangarie style extension to the listed manse. Along with the extension, the rest of the house was subject to a general refurbishment throughout.
Environment
To accommodate the large areas of glass installed, significant upgrades to the insulation throughout the rest of the house were installed to compensate for the heat loss.
Fact
The project will be carried out with the client working offshore, JAMstudio will project manage the build phase while keeping the client updated on progress.
Technical
The rear extension involved some significant steelwork to support the corner of the house on the upper floors
