JAMstudio was appointed to assist Dana Petroleum with the design of their new headquarters in Aberdeen. Through space planning, interior design, furniture procurement and accent lighting, JAM has created an workspace for Dana Petroleum in Aberdeen which is light, bright, colourful and, based on excellent client feedback, a joy to work in.

Scope

The Aberdeen office comprises 37,500 sqft of space over three floors for 250 staff. The total construction cost for the project was £5.5M.

Environment

Scotland’s First Minister, the Rt. Hon Alex Salmond MSP, officially declared the building open when he visited on Monday September 3rd 2012.

Dana Petroleum is a $4 billion oil and gas company operating in the UK, Egypt, the Netherlands and Africa, with headquarters in Aberdeen.

Technical

JAMstudio used the Dana 'rock' logo to develop a bespoke light fitting prototype in partnership with a south of England supplier.
