JAMstudio are delighted to have been recognised as part of a north-east awards event. The practice has been shortlisted in the Interiors Elite category at Trend magazine’s Life with Style Awards 2013. It is the second time the practice has been nominated for the honour, having previously won the award in 2010.
The results will be announced at an awards dinner to be held at the Marcliffe Hotel in Aberdeen on Thursday, June 13.
Marie-Louise Dunk, said: “This nomination is a fantastic achievement for all of us at JAMstudio. It’s an exciting opportunity for the business but we know we’re up against some tough competition. It goes without saying that we are delighted to be nominated again as finalists and we would be simply ecstatic if we were to win.”
The nomination reflects JAMstudio’s work on a number of high-profile projects, including its key role in the development of Dana Petroleum’s new headquarters in the centre of Aberdeen. It delivered the office design project - including design, space planning and refurbishment - for the upstream oil & gas exploration and production company’s 37,500 sq ft King’s Close offices.
The judges also considered JAMstudio’s £1million refurbishment of The Dalmore Visitor Centre, the renowned highland distillery near Inverness, the extension of a family home in Aberdeen and an internal refit of the company’s own office space.
