JAMstudio have submitted a planning application to Aberdeenshire Council for a replacement house at the site in Braemar. The house which is located within a conservation area is likely to prove challenging application, but we believe there are significant grounds for the replacement, given the condition of the existing structure. The new house respects the design of the main body of the existing house, along with some modern additions. The replacement house also will be highly energy efficient, utilising a SIPS structure and using renewable technologies for the provision of heating. More updates to follow soon.
